This course is designed for people with a solid knowledge of computers; programming skills are NOT necessary. Ideal for new digital evidence examiners, former military personnel, field officers, and recent graduates.

Micro-Credential: A Micro-Credential is available for trainees who complete all required portions of this course including the final reflection. Developed within the Global Forensic and Justice Center, this badge recognizes competency in explaining and properly applying forensically sound methodologies, tools, and techniques used in the collection, preservation, and processing of digital evidence. Earners can explain concepts relating to digital evidence; create forensic images using correct methodologies and tools; and locate and extract artifacts of forensic significance from digital devices.
