Our Digital Crime Scene Photography course will help you capture true and accurate photographic documentation of any scene.
This course covers digital camera basics and lighting strategies, as well as methods to capture impression evidence and bloodstain images.
Learn to ‘paint with light,’ capture a drop of water in motion and handle other photo challenges. Preparing for courtroom testimony rounds out the coverage that the crime scene photographer needs to know.
Special Features:
This course takes approximately 6 hours to complete at your own pace. Students have access to the course for 60 days and a certificate of completion will be issued to those successfully completing the course (score of 75% or greater). An FIU Continuing Education certificate for .6 credits will be mailed to the student address as entered. NFSTC trainings have been approved by the (American Board of Criminalistics) ABC for professional development points.
System Requirements: Users will need a computer with internet access. Modules may also contain Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents, and Adobe PDF documents (Adobe Reader). NOTE: Tablets and mobile devices may not allow all course content to function fully.
