  • legal and ethical considerations

Instruction also includes an overview of specialized forensic tools and software used to conduct forensic examinations on digital devices.

Description

This course is designed for people with a solid knowledge of computers; programming skills are NOT necessary. Ideal for new digital evidence examiners, former military personnel, field officers, and recent graduates. In order to successfully complete this course, participants will need:

  • Access to a Windows computer with Administrative privileges or a Mac computer with Parallels installed to run Windows in a virtual environment
  • USB thumb drive, recommended size between 2-8 GB
